The University of Malaya (UM), located in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital, is a public research university and the largest and oldest institution of higher education in Malaysia. The university covers an area of 373.12 hectares and consists of 14 faculties, 2 graduate schools, 4 research institutes, and 5 research centers. As of 2024, UM has 19,125 undergraduate students, 15,874 postgraduate students, and 2,314 academic staff members, including 36 fellows of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia. 三、申请条件Entry Requirements
1.本升硕学生需持有学士学位证，硕升博学生需持有硕士学位证
Applicants for master’s programs must hold a bachelor’s degree; applicants for doctoral programs must hold a master’s degree.
2. 雅思不低于5分，具体要求需依据申请专业和申请级别而定
IELTS score should be no less than 5.0; specific requirements depend on the chosen program and level of study.
3. 绩点不少于3.0/4.0
GPA should be at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
